518민주정신을 계승하고자 국가에서 기념일을 정하고, 518민주정신은 세계속의 민주주의 지주역할을 하면서, 세계속의 ‘민주성지’가 되어 가고 있습니다, 한국은 몰라도 광주518은 세계인들의 가슴속에 자리하면서 민주주의가 성장하고 있습니다.
518민주정신을 폄하하고, 날조하고 유언비어를 날조하는 국회의원들이, 국민의 세금으로 활동을 하면서, 국가의 위상을 흔들고 있습니다. 같은 나라에 살면서 국민의 마음에 상처를 주고 있습니다. 김진태, 이종명, 김순례 이 세사람은 하루 속히 518민주정신을 돌려주고, 국가는 국민이 받은 아픈 상처를 치유해야 합니다.

Rep. Lee Jong-myung said at the event, "The riot was turned into a democratic movement by political and ideological forces. Although he apologized after the controversy, he has not declined to confirm the intervene of the North Korean troops and publicize the list of the meritorious people from the Gwangju movement.
Rep. Kim Sun-rye said in her speech, "The pro-North Korean leftists are playing a game and they are wasting our taxes by creating a strange group of monsters called 'the people of the May 18 democratization movement merits,' and "we need to find out the persons who are playing a party while spending the citizens' taxes." She also said, "There was an effort to find out the historical truth about the North Korean military's involvement."
Rep. Kim Sun-rye apologized it and withdrew her claim, but still insists the disclosure of the list of the people of the May 18 democratization movement merits.
Rep. Kim Jin-tae also insists on verifying the involvement of the North Korean military and disclosing the list of May 18 pro-democracy activists.
Regarding to the Jee Man Won's claim, the court has already said it is not true that the North Korean military intervene in the May 18 Gwangju Uprising, but we will clearly take legal responsibility for spreading false information if they insist this rumor again.
In addition, we strongly demand legal responsibility for Lim Chun-yong, president of the Free North Korean Armed Forces, who wrote "The May 18 Real substance of a powerful fraud" that claimed the North Korean military's intervention in the past, and we declare that our 5.18 Restraint Innovation Committee is leading the way.
Also, the three lawmakers of the Liberty Korea Party including Kim Jin-tae, and others, are arguing that the May 18 meritous persons' names should be disclosed because there are fake figures in that list.

Lawmakers of the Liberty Korea Party, including Kim Jin-tae, also point out the mistake of confusing the private organization approved by the Veterans Affairs Office with the public law, which was approved by the National Assembly under the Act on the Establishment of Groups of National Scholars.
First of all, the body corporate, 5.18 Free Democratic People's Congress, is an incorporated association and not a public law organization approved by the National Assembly. Therefore, it is not illegal for the Banggye tribe to exist as a member of this division.

Kim Jin-tae, a member of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee, exaggerates that there are some fake men of merit in the three articles from the three cooperations. If not, Rep. Kim Jin-tae should clarify why he claims the May 18 democratic patriots are fake.

I am sure that if we set up a new cooperation, regarding as a group establishment bill in the National Assemblym, the rumor from Kim Jin-tae, Lee Jong-myung and Kim Soon-rye that there are the fake May 18 democratic men of the merit will be cleared up.

It is the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs that has authorized three organizations: the bereaved families of the victims of the May 18 Democratic Movement, the Cooperation of May 18 Democratic wounded patriots, and the May 18 Arrested party.
It is pointed out that the recent fake 5.18 pro-democracy activist false rumors claimed by Liberal Korean lawmakers such as Kim Jin-tae, Lee Jong-myung and Kim Sun-rye could not have happened in the first place if the law on the worship of the people had been thoroughly reviewed and authorized.
This is why the Committee of Innovation has pointed out to the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs several times, but I strongly recommend that these three organizations provide administrative guidance that the establishment of public law organizations is possible only if they are made legitimate to the laws in respect of 5.18 Democratic People's.

At that time, however, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs approved the government's approval of the bereaved family, which received compensation based on the 5.18 compensation law, so lawmakers of the Liberty Korea Party, including Kim Jin-tae, called them "fake 5.18 democratic patriots." Also, because of the bereaved family, the May 18 democratization movement's meritorious persons could not establish the public law organization.

Thus, we make a petition that the president Moon Jae-in urges Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to point out this problems and makes these cooperations establish the public law organization, according to the law of the May 18 democratization movement's meritorious people' respectful treatment.
This is the best way to deal with these rumors from the Liberty Korea party including Kim Jin-tae.
